We are pleased to announce that CHC, CRDF and Jaigarh Public Charitable Trust (JPCT) have entered an MoU for the sustainable conservation of the Jaigarh Fort Precinct in Jaipur. After conducting a preliminary scoping visit in November 2023, the CHC team conducted a detailed visual assessment of the site in March 2024 to arrive at key safeguarding measures for the precinct.

The collaboration intends to foster a long-term partnership that enables research and education in the area of heritage conservation. The Jaigarh Fort Precinct offers rich possibilities for deep diving into a range of conservation questions related to a historic built environment. This range includes studies on architectural, structural, technological and resource systems. The overall aim of the partnership is to imagine and implement a sustainable future for the historic precinct.
